犬のしつけ本はたくさんありますが、猫の本は、かわいい写真集などが多いイメージですが、この本はがっつりしつけというか猫の行動学の本です。

- 猫の高齢性認知機能不全(認知症)
猫は、トイレをすぐに覚えると聞いていましたが、様々な失敗もあるようです。
猫の問題行動は、コミュニケーションの行き違いから起こることも珍しくないそうです。
猫は、もともと仲間と直接 コミュニケーションをとることが少ないので、
体や顔を使った視覚的なコミュニケーション、声を使った聴覚的なコミュニケーションは犬に比べて地味でバリエーションが少ない。
私がいつも不思議に思っていたなでてときたのに急に攻撃的になる猫の気持ちは、今のところ解明はされていないようですが、4つの説があるようで。
- 一定時間なでられると満足する
- なでられることへの許容範囲が狭い
- 途中から嫌なさわれ方に変わった
- 体の一部に痛いところがある
攻撃的になる前にはボディランゲージでしめしてくれています。

猫の行動学や気持ちを知りたい方におすすめな本です。
最近よくある写真がたくさんある本ではなくて、びっしり字が書かれていて、読み応えのある本です。
水越先生のセミナーは以前、よく受講されていました。
とてもわかりやすいセミナーでまた受けたいです。
