猫を長生きさせる秘訣！食餌を見直そう！
「おうちでできる猫ケアのセミナー」に参加しました。
５日間のセミナーについてかなり勉強になったので、まとめてみます。
Day1『腸が元気な猫に育てよう！』
人も『腸活』などと腸が大切だと言われています。
それは猫さんも一緒ということを教わりました。
今日の内容
腸が元気な猫に育てよう！
人の健康では、腸内環境が大事と言われていますが、これは猫も一緒。
人の医学では、病気の90%は腸内環境の悪化が原因と言われているそうです。
猫がかかりやす病気は、１番が腎臓や泌尿器系、次がガン
どちらも腸内環境の悪化が原因だそうです。
人と犬と猫では、腸の長さ、腸の中に住んでいる細菌の種類が違う。
病気になると腸内細菌の数や構成が変化する。
猫を長生きさせる秘訣
①猫の腸が善玉菌がいっぱいの腸内環境
②猫の腸がばい菌でいっぱいの乱れた腸内環境になってしまってもいち早く①のよい状態に戻してあげる
人も猫も食べたもので作られています。
食べ物の質が腸内環境を決めます。
食べ物の質を無視することができません。
その時のセミナーでは、
- カリカリのフードが21名
- ウェット 11名
- 手作り食 1名
（カリカリとウェット併用の人も多数）
意識高い人が集まっているのに手作り食の方が少なくてビックリ！しました。
フードの見直しだけで改善されることが多いです。
吐くのは、食物アレルギーのこともあります。
猫にとってのいいフード
猫にとってのいいフードは、自然界で猫が自分で狩りをしてとっていた頃の本来の猫の食性にそった内容。
ネズミ丸ごと胃の消化酵素までとよく言われていますが、生きたネズミをあげることは難しいですよね。
そうなると良質なフードを選ぶことが大切になります。
猫さんのフード、おやつを購入するときに原材料など確認していますか？
人のものもそうですが、手をクルっとひっくり返して何が入っているのか確認してみましょう。
成分表は、たくさん使われている順に表示されています。
上の表でも書いてあるように猫は肉食！
フードの８割は、肉や魚で あとの１割を穀類、１割をビタミン、ミネラルで大丈夫です。
８割が肉、魚が原材料のフードはめちゃくちゃ高くなります。
実は、以前ペットフードの会社にいました。
フード製造には、原材料以外にもパッケージ、送料、広告料などなど費用がかかります。
ロットが多いや自社工場を持っていたとしても高額な広告料（テレビCMなど）使っている会社で安価なフードは原材料を疑ってもいいと思います。
ペットフードの原材料は、ペット用の原材料が使われいることが多いです。
（人が食べられないレベル）
以前、AAFCO（全米飼料検査官協会）の社長がトラックの荷台の山積みになっている死骸のものを指差して立派なタンパク源とインタビューを受けていて、衝撃を受けました。
AAFCOとは、ラベル表示のルールなどに関するガイドラインを設定しているアメリカの団体です。
ペットフードは法律が厳しくない分、「闇も深い」
もし、手作り食は難しいのであれば質の良いフードを選んでください。
良質なフードは高いから無理と思われるかもしれませんが、粗悪なフードを食べて病気になれば治療費がかかってしまいます。
まとめ
今日は、先日出た「おうちでできる猫ケアのセミナー」にまとめようと思ったのですが、食餌のことだけで終わってしまいました。
明日は、腸が元気だとなぜいいのかについて書きます。
