猫の腸内環境を整えるだけではダメ
今までのセミナーでは腸内環境が大切と言っていました。
そしてそれを裏付けるために人の腸内環境についても書きました。
Day４は、「猫の腸内環境を整えるだけではダメ」
腸内環境を整えるためにも口内環境も大切だということを書きます。
今日の内容

猫の腸内環境を整えるためには、口内環境も大切
口と腸は一本の腸管でつながっているので密接な関係があります。
猫の口内ケアをやっているかを講座中に質問されていました。
やっている人は、７人 やっていない 11人やっていない理由としては
- 嫌がる
- そんなに必要と思っていた
- 時間が作れない
- 何をしていいのかわからない
講座では、納豆菌のサプリメントを紹介されていました。
歯磨きできない猫には必要とおっしゃっていました。
サプリメントを使うとき
そのサプリメントがどういう仕組みでどう働き方をして、その結果どういう期待ができるのかを理解して使うことが大切だとおっしゃっていました。
サプリメントは、薬ではないので効果が出るまでには時間がかかります。
効果が出るまで時間がかかるときかないなと止めてしまう人も多いです。
そのためにも仕組みを理解することがとても大切になります。
口内環境
人の場合、歯周病菌が肺炎、脳疾患、アルツファイマー、肝不全、腎不全に関わるといわれています。
大腸癌の病巣と転移した病巣に口腔内細菌がいて関わっていることがわかっています。
口の中にいるバイ菌は、ずっと口の中にいるわけでなくて、歯周ポケットから血管にすっと入りこんで血液によって全身に運ばれます。
動物の臨床治療から、犬や猫も歯周病菌が原因であると推察されているそうです。
口の中のバイ菌を減らすケアもしてあげないと病気を完全に予防するのは難しいです。
猫は、虫歯になりにくい
猫の口の中はアルカリ性なので虫歯菌は繁殖されにくいといわれています。
だけど歯周病にはなるので、口の中がバイ菌でいっぱいにります。
そのために猫の口臭ケアは大切！
口内環境の悪化と認知症は関係がある（人）
口内環境の悪化で他にも糖尿病、脳梗塞、心筋梗塞、気管支炎など病気を誘発することは何年も前からいわれています。
歯周病菌が認知症の原因の一つになると解明されています。
口の中で善玉菌がたくさん繁殖して良い菌の善玉菌がちゃんと働けなくなっている状態。
口臭の原因
老人になると口臭がひどくなります。
歯磨きだけでなく、舌磨きもした方がいいですね。
口の中だけとはかぎらない
腸内でバイ菌が繁殖して、そのバイ菌が出す悪臭が口まで上がってきている場合があります。
口も腸も両方改善するべき！
歯垢と歯石の違い
台所のシンクを想像するとわかりやすいです。
台所のシンクの掃除をさぼるとネバネバしてくる。それをそのままにしておくと白い細いのがついてきます。
このネバネバが歯垢で、白い細いのが歯石にあたります。
口の中でネバネバの歯垢を３日放置すると歯石になります。
この歯垢、歯石の中にバイ菌がたくさんいます。
猫にも歯磨きが必要
歯ブラシでやらしてくれたらいいけど、ほとんどの猫は嫌がってやらせてくれません。
口の中でネバネバの歯垢を３日放置すると歯石になります。
毎日は、無理でも歯石になる前に2,3日に１回は歯磨きできるようにしましょう。
犬歯から触るといい。
犬歯はそんなに気がつかないそうです。
犬歯からスライドさせて口の中を開けさせて、ガーゼなどで拭くだけでもいい。
セミナーでは、納豆菌とジェルを紹介していました。
