愛犬の共感する力
犬は大先生としていろいろと犬から学んでいる私ですが、
１番は“共感力”が素晴らしいと思っています。
その共感力について書きます。

犬の共感力
犬は、私たち人間の気分や意図を察して、同調してくれます。
犬の祖先ともいわれているオオカミも感受性 豊かで社会性な生き物ですが、
犬は数千にわたって人間のそばで過ごしたことで、
私たちの行動や感情に敏感になったといえます。
幸せホルモン『オキシトシン』
現にオオカミは、相手と目を合わせることは挑戦的と捉えられるのに対して、
犬は目と目が合うと見返してきます。
この目と目が合うと、『オキシトシン』が分泌されます。
この『オキシトシン』は愛情ホルモン、幸せホルモンとも言われていて、親愛の情を調節するホルモンです。
つまり、オオカミでは、目を合わせるのは敵意を表すのに対して、
犬の場合は、愛情を示すことになります。
犬は言葉を理解しているのか
犬は、私たちが何を言っているのかすぐに理解できるようになってきます。
すべての言葉が理解できるようになるわけではありませんが、キーとなる言葉や抑揚は理解していると言われています。
人間とサルの脳には、声に含まれる感情のシグナルを処理するための解剖学的特徴がありますが、それが犬にも認められています。
感情を顔に出すための脳領域も、霊長類と犬の両方に存在しています。
この脳領域は、犬が人間の心痛を察するとても役立ちます。
こんな実験があります。
飼い主がストレスを感じている状況と楽しいと感じている状況それぞれに着ていたシャツを犬に与えた場合、どちらに執着したと思いますか？
犬は、ストレスを感じたていた時に着ていたシャツのにおいばかり嗅いでいたそうです。
その際、心拍数も上がったといいます。
私たちの心痛は、犬にも伝わっていることになります。
犬もあくびがうつる
あくびをすると犬もあくびをするところも共感性がある証拠になります。
ただ、ここまでの共感性は環境と経験によって変わってきます。
見つめ合うオキシトシンの分泌量も日頃からコミュニケーションがある人と犬の方が多いと言われています。
