すっかり春めいてきましたね。
春は環境も変わって何かとイライラしがちですよね。
それは、東洋医学における“肝”（＝怒り）の異常だからかも？
今日は、”肝”のケアについて書きます。
東洋医学的な “肝” とは
東洋医学における肝は、西洋医学の肝臓と作用が全く異なります。
肝は、気や血の流れなどをコントロールしていると考えられています。
春はただでさえイライラしますよね。
それも実は、”怒” も “肝” に関係します。
春のイライラの改善方法
具体的には訳も無くイライラしやすい、眠れない、気分が重いといった症状が出やすくなります。
イライラが止まらない時は、肝のエネルギー（気）が活発になりすぎていることが多いです。
そんな時は“肝の気”をゆるめてあげることが大事になります。
“肝”を整える食事
甘みの強い菓子や甘いジュースなど、糖分の高い食べ物を摂り過ぎ無いように。
甘みの強い食物は一時的に満足感が得られますが、血糖値の乱高下と低血糖状態を招きやすく、”肝”結果としてイライラや慢性的な倦怠感、栄養の偏りを助長しかねません。
そのためお菓子やジュースが手放せなくなり中毒的になってしまうこともあります。
東洋医学では”肝”には、柑橘系のフルーツなどの酸味のある食べ物を摂るといいと言われています。
他の食材
クレソンやセリ、セロリ、トマト、穴子、レバー、赤みの肉＆魚、アサリなどの貝類、イカ、卵、アーモンド、ナツメ
“肝”を整える生活習慣
軽い運動
歩く程度の軽い運動をする。
たとえば、イライラしたり煮詰まったときは、
今の作業をちょっと中断して、10～15分、外を歩いてみる、ストレッチするなど。
軽く体を動かすことで、“肝”で増幅したエネルギーを上手に体外へ放出でき、気持ちもスッキリします。
睡眠
東洋医学では1日のうち、午前1時～3時が“肝”の機能回復タイムとされています。
この時間帯にきちんと睡眠をとることが大事！
日付が変わる前に就寝して“肝”の改善しましょう。
お風呂上がりに軽くストレッチもおすすめ
“肝”は筋（筋肉など）の活動にも関わっているので、筋肉をゆるめてあげることで、肝の緊張を解き、伸び伸びした状態にしてあげられます。
イライラしたときにおすすめな精油
ラベンダー、イランイラン、ネロリ、ローマンカモミール、ジャーマンカモミール
ご自分が好きな香りの精油を使ってリラックスしてください。
イライラしたときにおすすめなハーブ
ラベンダー、ジャーマンカモミール、オレンジピール
ご自分が好きなハーブティーを飲んでゆったりする時間を作ってください。

トケイソウ
リラックスできます。
安眠もできます。
